About Mariella
Hi, I'm Mariella, a 4th year medical student at Oxford. I am greatly interested in medical admissions and passionate about it. My UCAT scored in the 96th percentile (top 4%) and band 1 in situational judgement. I have plenty of mentoring experience and can't wait to use it to help you, during your admissions journey.

About the lesson

The first trial mentoring session will include a general conversation about the student. This includes their experience, desired medical school, grades and at what stage of the application they are at. We will then go over a general admissions timeline and identify when they would like support and where to best start. Further sessions include personal statement workshops, UCAT preparation and lessons, and interview preparation (including mock interviews). If desired, I will also provide guidance on which medical schools to apply to, to help maximise the chances of receiving an interview and thus an offer. I also make sure to instil confidence in my mentees as I know how stressful the application process can be. All lessons are 1h+ long and aimed at students who want to or are in the process of applying to medical school.
