I am a 4th year student studying towards being a teacher ,I chose this profession because I wanted to be the teacher I wish I had. A teacher who gives undivided attention, a teacher who cares, a patient teacher, a teacher who solves the problem from the root and encourages even when I am not doing my best , a teacher who pushes me to my best and does not give up even when I do.

I am a young tutor who caters for young people, I try to move away from the old-fashioned and strict methods used in classrooms. Learning Mathematical Literacy is more of a conversation rather than drilling information in your head. I make Maths fun so that the learner looks forward to the session, this makes it easier for the learner to understand what they are being taught. I test knowledge in form of quizzes and I am creative in the way I set worksheets and activities. I encourage group or pair work and I thoroughly explain before I assign work. I use mostly English but I am also fluent in IsiZulu and Sesotho
