About Lochie
I'm a current 5th year Aerospace Engineering and Physics student at Monash University. I graduated VCE in 2021 with an ATAR of 99.05, and am holding a 4.0 GPA and 88% WAM at university.
I have a passion for math and science which has lead me through multiple research internships, engineering student teams, and three years of tutoring. I'd love to share my passion with you, and help you achieve your academic goals!

I'm mainly offering VCE Maths and Physics tutoring for students in year 11-12. However, I am well versed in Mathematics and am open to teaching any grade or ability.
My classes are typically an hour long per subject, and ran either in the comfort of your home or at a public library for $50 an hour. Depending on the lesson location, I might need to charge additional travel costs. We can also organise small group classes at a discounted rate per student! To get to know me and see if you enjoy the classes, your first lesson is free of charge!
My aim is to supplement students learnings from school by:
- Providing additional tailored practice problems and examples
- Searching for and directly teaching gaps in the students knowledge
- Answering and assisting any questions students have from school
My experience tutoring includes:
- Classroom and one-on-one private tutor at KT Education for two years, teaching from early high school through to VCE
- Independently organised one-on-one private tutoring for one year
- ACU Teaching Assistant for Biomedical Mathematics class
