About Kris
I am 43 years old and commenced learning Taekwon-Do at the age of 8 years. Over the past 35 years I have attained the rank of 6th Dan (Degree) Black Belt. Taekwon-Do is know as the art of Self Defense. I have taught self defense only classes at many primary and secondary schools throughout the Wide Bay region as well as conducting regular traditional Taekwon-Do classes for 25 years, since the age of 18.
I have had numerous students progress under my tutelage to 1st Dan black belt and many go on to become Instructors and reach higher Dan levels up to and including 5th Dan.

My lessons are conducted with professionalism and cover topics such as self defense and law, safety out and about, the three A's of Self Defense Awareness, Attitude & Avoidance. The lessons are tailored to fit individual students of all ages and fitness levels including those with disabilities. All lessons include theory as well as physical activity and will provide participants with a good understanding of Self Defense.
