About Herman
I have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Toronto and will be starting my MBA at the Ivey Business School in March 2021.
I self-studied for the GMAT in August 2020 and scored 760, with 99th percentile in Verbal, 6.0 in the AWA, and 8 in Integrated Reasoning. I just took the test, so I know exactly what you will need to do well and how to put your time and money to good use!
I also have 2 years of experience tutoring high school math and science with excellent results.

We will start by going through key concepts and move right into practicing using real questions as the GMAT is a very strategy-based test, one that challenges your ability to apply a few basic principles rather than your ability to memorize every single rule or formula.
The Verbal section is extremely important to the GMAT because mastering this section almost ensures a great Total Score. The same Critical Reasoning skills will have a definite impact on your AWA and Integrated Reasoning as well, further boosting your confidence on test day and relieving some worries about those "less important" sections that you probably still want to do OK in.
