About James
Hi! I’m James, and I’m currently a general dentist as well as a Medical student at the University of Sydney. I sat the GAMSAT for the first time in March 2024 to pursue a medical career and scored 78/73/80. Since that time, I have offered tutoring and found immense satisfaction in guiding my students to achieve their milestones and pursue their dream careers.

My Section 2 tutoring is very comprehensive, covering everything from grammar fundamentals and choosing topics, to the ability to repeatedly write excellently-structured essays in both argumentative and reflective styles. One of my Section 2 students in the most recent sitting (March 2026) took her score from 57 to 82, highlighting my continued focus in this area.
For Sections 1 and 3, I take a unique approach to teaching not simply the content, but the logic that operates behind the MCQs, which I find ensures more predictable results. I am also happy to help with Casper preparation, having scored a top quartile result in 2024 and having a wealth of professional experience to draw on.
