About Shumayla
My name is Shumayla, and I am an Aalima (a female Islamic scholar) with a strong educational background in Islamic studies. Experience and Specialization: I have nine years of dedicated teaching experience in a Madrasa, specializing in Tajweed, Quranic Recitation, and basic Fiqh. Important Language Note: Please note that I can only teach and explain lessons in HINDI and URDU languages. I do not teach in any other language. Goal: My goal is to help students achieve fluency in Quranic recitation and a deep, practical understanding of Islamic principles. Quranic Studies (قرآنی تعلیم) • Tajweed Course (علمِ تجوید): Learning the proper rules and pronunciation for reciting the Quran accurately. This is often the most sought-after course. • Recitation (Naazira): Learning to read the Quran fluently from the Mushaf. • Basic Reading (Noorani Qaida): For beginners (children and adults) who are just starting to recognize the Arabic letters. • Hifz/Memorization Support: Helping students memorize specific chapters or portions of the Quran. 2. Fiqh and Islamic Essentials (فقہ اور بنیادی مسائل) • Basic Fiqh (Jurisprudence): Covering the essential rules related to daily life, such as Tahara (purification), Salah (prayer), and Sawm (fasting). • Islamic Manners & Etiquette (Aadaab): Teaching essential Islamic behavior and manners as taught by the Sunnah. • Specific Fiqh for Women: (If you specialize in this area and are comfortable teaching it). 3. Islamic Knowledge and Character Building (سیرت و اخلاقیات) • Seerah of the Prophet (ﷺ): Teaching the life story and lessons from the Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) life. • Ahadith (Prophetic Narrations): Basic introduction to simple, foundational collections of Hadith (like the 40 Hadith of Imam Nawawi).
