About Abdullah
Hello! I am Abdullah and I am a passionate and experienced tutor specialising in Computer Science, Mathematics, ICT, and Science. I love helping students build confidence, deepen their understanding, and achieve academic success, whether they need support catching up or want to aim for top grades. I have experience tutoring students from KS3 through to GCSEs, and I’m familiar with the majority of the UK exam boards, which include the likes of: AQA, Edexcel, and OCR. I tailor each lesson to the student’s goals and learning style, making sure they feel supported, challenged, and engaged throughout the learning process. My teaching style is friendly, clear, and structured. I break complex topics into manageable parts, use real-world examples to bring subjects to life, and provide plenty of practice and feedback to reinforce learning. Lessons typically involve: A quick recap or warm-up Step-by-step explanation of key concepts Guided examples and interactive questions Practice tasks or problem-solving A short review and targets for next time I hold a strong academic background in STEM subjects, and I’m particularly skilled at helping students overcome mental blocks, prepare effectively for exams, and develop long-term study skills. What truly motivates me to tutor is seeing that ‘lightbulb moment’ when a student realises they can do it. That spark of understanding and growing self-belief is what drives my passion for teaching, mentoring, and making a real difference in a student’s journey.

I have extensive experience teaching students online, using interactive tools and digital resources to create engaging and effective lessons. I make full use of screen sharing, virtual whiteboards, and interactive exercises to explain concepts clearly and keep students actively involved. By breaking down complex topics into simple steps and providing clear explanations with plenty of practice, I help students achieve tangible progress from lesson to lesson.
