My name is Xiaolin, I am passionate about introducing my own culture and I want to show people the beauty of my mother language—Chinese. I can speak Mandarin and Cantonese, both are interesting for me. I love to read and I can play the guitar.

My techniques are to follow students’ interest and curiosity about language. I am willing to use visual or oral ways to convey the language information and introduce new knowledge.
I would like to take one hour as the length of the lesson, but the time can change when it is needed.
I have taught my friend Chinese by adjusting her pronounciation, and helped her check her Chinese writting. I also have organised an activity called “Come and Have your Chinese name” as a member of school cultural council.
My lesson is better for Chinese learners at a junior level. I better teach children as I have learned Chinese in China when I was young.
