I try to encourage having fun playing the piano more than passing exams. While fundamentals such as scales and technique work are required, it is important to continuously enjoy what we learn. We can aim for pieces to play together, and I will try to communicate my own passion in our lessons.
I am a postgraduate student at the ANU, studying a Master of Asian and Pacific Studies after graduating mid-last year in with a Bachelor of Arts (with Honours) in History, First Class, from the University of Warwick (UK).
I started learning piano at the age of 4, and have over 15 years of piano playing under my belt, and have taught beginners (children and adults) on and off for the past 7 years.
Perfect! Maggie is an excellent teacher. She is Patient, attentive, always on time and follows my progress with enthusiasm. I am very happy the way she is teaching and am excited about my future lessons and progress.
Perfect! Very knowledgeable.
Maggie is a great and reliable tutor. I met her during university, and she has always been very approachable and she goes the extra mile when helping others.
