About Meryem
I am an academic designer in mathematics. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, a Master's Degree in Actuarial Science, and halfway through a Master's Degree in Mathematics. I have tutored in university and privately to high school and college students, and have taught Pre-Calculus and College Algebra.

My teaching motto is learn through discovery. I like to give my students examples that fit their level of understanding to assist them in answering and solving their own questions and give them a sense of independence and accomplishment. I try to explain the reasoning behind mathematical concepts and methods that are frequently overlooked to complete the ability to really understand a concept.
