About Bek

Throughout my career, I've developed strong communication, writing and interpersonal skills, and I'm passionate about helping others build on their strengths.

I want to teach because I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to express themselves clearly and confidently, regardless of their first language. I understand studying at university can be challenging, particularly when English is not your native language, and I want to help students feel more capable and confident in their academic work.

About the lesson

Hi! I'm Bek, a writing professional with a Graduate Diploma in Professional Writing and a Bachelor in Nursing/Psychology.

I'm passionate about helping university students who speak English as a second language develop their academic English, improve their essay writing, strengthen their grammar, and express their ideas with clarity and confidence.

My approach is friendly, patient and supportive. I understand that academic writing can feel overwhelming, so I aim to make learning practical, encouraging and tailored to your individual needs.

Whether you'd like help with essay structure, academic vocabulary, written expression or developing your confidence as a university student, I'd love to help you build skills you can use throughout your studies and beyond!
