About Burhan
As a Commercial Accountant/Analyst for a multimillion-pound organisation, my role requires a constant output of efficient, intricate and well-presented Excel reports. Gathering data from multiple sources, automating formulas and generating it all as a well-presented spreadsheet/PowerPoint presentation. These are all the key elements that build the basis for my technique and teaching through the lessons.
I have over 10 years' experience learning on the job, rectifying errors, constantly improving/adapting formulas, accessing advanced features such as macros/PowerQuery. All of this applicable in a practical environment to provide tangible benefit and efficiencies to the companies.

Who my sessions are for:
• Excel users (beginners, intermediate or advanced)
• Junior analysts, Excel report writers looking to propel themselves ahead of the pack.
• Any other frequent Excel users/analysts who want to refine their Excel knowledge further, or even get assistance on live reports to upgrade/rebuild where necessary.
I aim to provide in-depth knowledge and many tips and tricks that most accountants, data analysts or Excel report builders have spent many years developing.
I have personally provided in-house, basic to advanced, Excel training to over 50 colleagues over multiple coordinated sessions. This created a significant upskilling across the whole organisation, due to the integral nature of Excel within the company. The feedback received, with regards to the sessions and teaching, was incredibly positive.
Whether at an individual level or as a group, if an advancement in Excel ability is required to improve efficiency within your own company, my tried and tested course will be sure to deliver results. Using advanced Excel techniques and efficient formula building, regular reports can be streamlined to allow users more time for analysis and other productive tasks.
If you are looking for existing reports to be improved, updated or reproduced more efficiently, then sessions can be used to work through these, as opposed to any specific Excel training. Steps used in the process of rebuilding/improving will be clearly covered, to allow self-management of the reports.
If you're starting your career as an accountant or analyst, or still looking to get that first opportunity; having a greater understanding of Excel than other potential candidates could provide a significant boost in career progression and recruitment prospects.
