About Pamela
Does your current French practice feel a bit too stiff for a casual conversation on the Plateau? We focus on role play and dialogue to prepare you for real-world scenarios like job interviews or travel. You will practice liaison and nasal sounds until they feel like second nature.
We also cover verb conjugation through the lens of classic chanson lyrics. If you need specific exam preparation for the DELF or DALF, we can carve out space for that too.
Business French is another area we can explore if you are looking to integrate into the local workplace. I keep things hands-on because sitting in a stuffy classroom never worked for me. We move through the material at a steady pace that keeps you engaged. This is the practical way to learn.

My teaching is rooted in the chanson tradition of Vigneault and Leloup, bringing a cultural layer to our work together. Since I am self-taught and spent 13 years gigging, I understand how to make language feel natural rather than academic.
I have worked with 150 students from all walks of life. I really enjoy helping adults and intermediate learners transition into daily life. It is rewarding to see someone finally nail those tricky nasal sounds. I live just around the corner and love grabbing a coffee while we chat.
