I prefer to teach students with reporting/data problems they currently have, thereby making the teaching more "relevant" and much more likely for what is learnt to "sink in". Learning how to ask Excel to do the hard work for you (with coding) and then just massaging the macros to make things work is really as simple as seems. I can also explain accounting from such a basic level, that you'll understand the big picture quite quickly. If only accounting was taught "this way" at universities. I can also help students build "models" too.
25 years worth of experience with Systems Accounting specialising in Excel Macros / (Visual Basic) and basic SQL fundamentals. My passion is automating Excel tasks to the point where all you have to do is click a button to get the job done! Reporting is a big thing in commerce.
