About Anuoluwapo

I am a Chartered Accountant with a Master’s in International Finance and a Bachelor’s in Accounting, and I hold professional certifications in ACA, ACCA (part-qualified), and Project Management.

I have been teaching since high school, giving private lessons and tutoring students at both secondary and university levels. Over the years, I’ve developed the ability to adapt my teaching to different learning styles, ensuring every student understands and retains concepts effectively.

With both academic and professional experience in accounting and finance, I focus on explaining concepts clearly, practically, and with real-world context, helping students not only achieve better results but also build a strong foundation they can rely on beyond the classroom.

I am also infusing my experience with AMAVO Consulting, where I support individuals and businesses in financial literacy, analysis, and strategy; bringing real-world insights into my lessons to help students connect theory with practice.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is simple, practical, and student-focused. I believe that anyone can understand accounting and finance when concepts are explained clearly and at the right pace.

I combine explanations, real-life examples, guided practice, and active participation. I break down complex topics into easy steps and make sure students understand the “why” behind each concept, not just how to solve a problem.

A typical lesson begins with a quick review of what you already know, followed by a clear explanation of the topic. We then work through examples together, and you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and apply what you’ve learned. Each lesson is tailored to your level, learning style, and goals.

I teach with patience and clarity, encouraging questions at every stage. My goal is not just to help you pass exams, but to build confidence, critical thinking skills, and comfort with numbers.

Whether you’re a beginner or looking to strengthen your understanding, my lessons are structured, supportive, and focused on real understanding, giving you the tools to succeed in exams and in real-life applications of accounting and finance.
