About John Karl
I am currently pursuing a degree in accounting while working part-time as an accounting staff member, giving me a solid mix of academic knowledge and real-world experience. I've always been passionate about numbers and helping others understand them, which is what led me to tutoring. I believe accounting doesn't have to be intimidating — with the right explanation and enough practice, anyone can grasp it. I'm patient, detail-oriented, and committed to making sure my students not only memorize concepts but truly understand them. Outside of academics and work, I enjoy continuously learning new tools and best practices in accounting to stay updated and bring fresh, practical insights to every lesson.

A typical lesson includes a quick concept review, guided practice with real examples, and a Q&A to clear up confusion. What sets me apart is that I don't just teach textbook theory — I show you how accounting actually works in a real office setting, including tools like QuickBooks. My lessons are ideal for high school and college students studying accounting, as well as beginners who want to understand bookkeeping for personal or small business use.
