Skateboarding has played a transformative role in my life. Over my 16 years on the board, I've met countless like-minded individuals, shared meaningful interactions, and built lifelong friendships that feel like family. Being immersed in the broader skate community has given me a profound sense of belonging, where everyone regardless of background or identity is accepted and treated with respect, kindness, and support. Skateboarding fosters a space to be uniquely authentic, to express oneself creatively, and to embrace failure as a humbling and rewarding part of the journey. It’s a canvas with boundless possibilities, constantly challenging me and guiding me to be the best version of myself, both on and off the board. This simple piece of wood on wheels has given me invaluable qualities that have shaped who I am today."
