About Niya
I am a dedicated sixth-form student currently studying A-level biology and chemistry, having achieved grade 9s in both subjects at GCSE. With experience tutoring younger children, including preparation for the 11+, I have developed strong communication and teaching skills. I am excited to expand my experience by working with older students and supporting them in reaching their academic goals. Aspiring to study medicine in the future, I understand the value of commitment and consistency - qualities I bring to every tutoring session. I also appreciate how impactful learning beyond the classroom can be in shaping a student’s success.

I teach in a clear and supportive way, focusing on breaking down difficult concepts and helping students memorise key information effectively. My lessons are usually one hour long and tailored to each student's needs. I achieved grade 9s in both biology and chemistry by using consistent practice and active memorisation techniques - methods I now share with my students. I use past paper questions, notes and visual aids to boost confidence and exam performance. My online tutoring is ideal for GCSE students (Years 9–11).
