About Chris

I am a motivated, enthusiastic and inspired A-Level student who has always been passionate about academics. Since a very young age, I have been proficient in Mathematics, but unlike many STEM students, I also possess great capability in essay subjects, including English Literature and Geography. During my exam season, I realised that I was able to teach my friends concepts that they were initially unable to understand. Therefore, I believe my wide skillset will be able to specialise across a variety of abilities, and ensure that you too can excel.

I have received numerous Learning Honours as well as Awards For Academic Excellence. I have also participated in nation-wide competitions, such as the Junior Maths Challenge and more recently, the Intermediate Maths Challenge. In the Intermediate Maths Challenge, I received a Gold Kangaroo award, which is only attained by less than 8% of selected participants. I have been proud of my achievements over these past couple of years.

About the lesson

My Methodology:

The core to mastering GCSE Physics is teaching according to the specification. Often, teachers in schools digress from what students actually need to know for exams. In my lessons, I ensure that I stick strictly to the respective exam board's specification, as well as interweaving exam style questions to complete mastery. Also, I prepare lessons beforehand, by asking students what topics they want to cover prior to the session.

My Lessons:

Typically, I will teach for an hour, but I am happy to go longer if required.

Qualifications/Experience:

I have completed 11 GCSEs in Mathematics, English Literature, English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, German, Geography, Business, Computer Science and Statistics. I have also completed a Level 3 FSMQ (AS Level equivalent) in Additional Mathematics. I am taking Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Economics at A-Level.

Who My Lessons Are Aimed At:

Whether it is a student who is unsure about Physics and looking to build a strong foundation, or an excelling pupil aiming to extend their knowledge, I am ready to teach them. Students should be at GCSE level, between Year 9 and 11, but I can also teach younger aspiring students who want to get ahead.
