About Rome
My name is Rome, I’m seventeen years old, and it is my dream to become fluent in Spanish and move to Spain. I am an aspiring novelist who loves languages. Since I was a little girl, I have always loved languages; I speak English (first language), Spanish (almost fluent), I understand Lithuanian, and I’m learning Portuguese. I am a firm believer in the importance of knowing a language other than English. Languages help you get work, travel, and it’s just fun. Even though English is my first language, Spanish is definitely my favourite language to speak- it’s such an interesting language to me. Did you know that if you can speak both Spanish and English, you can speak to 80% of the world? Isn’t that fascinating? As you can probably tell, I am extremely enthusiastic about Spanish and I would love to help anyone gain the same joy that I do from Spanish.

If anyone aged between 11 and 14 needs any support in their pre GCSE Spanish career , I am more than eager to design personalised lessons to help. In my years experience tutoring GCSE Spanish students, I have managed to bring my students from failing grades to good passes; I have learned that each student learns differently and how to cater to those needs through getting to know each student and adapting my way of teaching rather than trying to get them to change their understanding; and I have found methods to make language-learning fun instead of tedious. I love to work hands on with my students and push them to get the best grades while maintaining an exciting class.
