About Steve
30+ years experience as a professional commercial photographer, photographing weddings, portraits, modelling portfolios, landscapes, aerial & other genres. I've developed & conducted my own photography courses in both group & one-on-one situations in Canberra & the Blue Mountains as well as Bathurst TAFE.
Some previous students have gone on to operate their own professional photographic studios & contribute top national magazines as freelance photojournalists.

I teach the basic fundamentals of photography and gradually build on knowledge from class to class, making my classes are suitable for everyone from complete beginners to more experienced amateurs and even semi-professionals.
I have a practical, "hands on" approach and offer constructive feedback on students' work. I encourage my students to ask questions, make suggestions, try out new techniques and experiment with what they have learned.
