About Dan
I have worked in west end theatre, regional theatre, appeared for 3 years as one of the main cast in an international TV series for E4, done work for ITV, and appeared in a number of films that received cinematic release. I have had the full range of industry experience, with everything from independent short films to hollywood blockbusters, so have a good understanding about what is required in every aspect of the acting industry.
As a tutor I have spent a number of years coaching actors for both audition and performance. I am currently the Meisner Technique tutor at City Academy and regularly run acting workshops for everything from introduction to acting, to professional classes.

My name is Dan and I'm an experienced actor and acting coach. I have worked as a professional actor for close to a decade in film, television, and theatre. I'm also an experienced teacher and acting coach, and director.
I focus on the following, usually one on one, though group sessions can be arranged with sufficient notice:

My approach is to focus on the specific blocks faced by the students I work with. Using my background in Stanislavsky based techniques, I can help actors identify the areas they are struggling with. I work closely with my students to help them develop methods and techniques that they can use in future work. Together we work to find the performance based in the unique truth they can bring to the role as people. This leads to work with great depth and integrity.
