About Cassia

I am an actor, who is also passionate about French and dance. I am a very curious person and love to learn and be in a learning environment. I find that being with other curious people is infectious. For this reason, I would love to share my knowledge and French language experience with students. I understand the frustrations of learning languages, but also the immense joy and feeling of accomplishment when you progress! I have travelled widely, and have also lived in Paris for 3 years while studying acting. It was an incredible experience and I learnt so much from it.

About the lesson

The lessons are 1 hour and the initial lesson will be for us to get to know one another and for me to understand your experience and goals.

When I learnt French I felt like there weren’t many environments where I could practice speaking without judgement. I focus on creating an atmosphere where you can practice speaking without fearing making mistakes. I will also focus on vocabulary, verb conjugation and French culture.

My lessons are for beginners both children and adults who are curious or passionate about learning French.

I have just started working as a tutor. However I have been a student myself, at university and acting school, so I know what it's like from the perspective of a student. I’ve also worked as a babysitter for over 10 years, and from that have learned to be patient, encouraging and playful.

Perfect! Cassia has been great with my French tutoring. The way she presents each lesson is easy to understand and the effort she puts into planning each session is amazing. I was nervous to start learning French, but Cassia makes it easy. Merci Beaucoup!

I met Cassia in Paris many years ago when we were students. As a French native person, I was impressed by her fast progress and serious dedication to learning the language. Her life experience in France allowed her to master the language in every situation. Today we only communicate in French and she still impresses me. It is no surprise that she is now a tutor, and I know she will use her skills, patience and kindness as well as her knowledge of French to help her students learn and improve with confidence.
