About Jaclyn
I am Jaclyn and students usually call me Jackie. I am a dedicated and enthusiastic tutor who is passionate about math and therefore very excited to help students to do better in math. I am truly passionate about witnessing those 'aha' moments and take great pride in seeing my students grow into independent, confident learners.
I understand math can be difficult but also understand math is somewhat a 'must', either as a gateway to university, a tool for life, or a significant factor in your final ATAR. That's why I am here to help.
I will teach you in the way you will be able to understand and learn and therefore building your confidence and achieving better results.

I believe there is no 'one-size-fits-all' in teaching. I adjust the pace and style of my teaching so every student feels supported, not judged. I am passionate about math and appreciate that there are many ways to solve a problem and therefore many ways to teach one to solve a problem.
My lesson is usually 60 minutes. It may include resolving any queries from school, reviewing exercises or teaching in advance.
I have previously worked in a tuition center and have been a private tutor for 10+ years.
My students ranged from primary level to VCE year 12.
