About Smita
Hi my name is Smita and I have been teaching maths, English and science for 14 years.
I am a qualified teacher and I have a masters in Education Practice. I currently teach people with learning needs maths and English. I teach both GCSE and functional skills. Before this role I worked at a large Leicester college teaching maths and English to the hardest to reach disengaged youth in the community.

I specialise in learning needs and teaching to people who may not want to fully engage. I also offer social needs support which I have done thought out my career. I can also help with career advice. I teach functional skills to young people and adults using a variety of methods to keep learners engaged and to cater to their learning needs.
