About Patrick
My name is Patrick Payne I am an ex-semi pro basketball player from here, Adelaide. I have played with and been coached by some of the best in Australia. I can help children ages 3-10 build a strong foundation of skills that will help them be one of the best players on their school team. I will ensure they have strong skills and more of an advanced knowledge of the game, giving them a unique advantage as they continue on their Basketball Journey into Club Basketball/High School Competitions.

My previous experiences coaching High School teams and 3-10 year olds on weekends has given me a very fair and developmental approach to coaching/teaching. My methodology involves giving players/kids as much time on the court as possible, to ensure they build key skills. My approach to coaching is understanding but motivating, I always will give players a chance to voice questions and engage in the sessions to a full circle of understanding, "How to do it, When to do it and WHY we are doing it". I believe it is important to help players reach their limit but to also provide a safe learning environment.
