About Samuel
My name is Samuel (22 years old) and I am in my final year of Bachelor of Dental surgery. I have always wanted to get into tutoring, and finally had the time to do it this year.
I finished my high school education in Malaysia with excellent results and came to Adelaide for Year 12/Australian Foundation Program. With the results that I obtained, I managed to get into dentistry as my first choice in University of Adelaide.
Private tuition in high school was also a huge part in my education - hence, I value the importance of tutoring. In regards of tutoring, I have several informal experiences teaching and helping friends with their academic problems. I find it really rewarding and satisfying when friends or students thank me for my efforts of helping/tutoring them.
Hence, I have decided to sign up as a casual tutor to help any students who are struggling with my listed subjects - hoping that I can help them improve.

I normally approach my teaching through:
1. Assessing my student - determining the level of my student through questions of varying difficulties.
2. Determining my student's motivation/goals.
3. Determining any specific problems/questions students prefer to address first.
4. If not (3), I'll start with consolidating basics and following through the syllabus - ensuring that my student understand the concepts and principles to solving the question.
