About Emma
Hi, I'm a university student who graduated high school in 2018 with a 99.25 ATAR and merits in English Literary and Solo Performance, achieving A and A+ grades from years 8 to 12 and most recently in subjects such as English Literary Studies, Psychology, Biology and Musicianship. I have tutored in English Literary Studies this year, assisting in explaining assignments and drafting essays. Last year, I was awarded the Caltex Best All Rounder Prize for my commitment to study, and helping my peers and community. I love working with students and I am patient, understanding and clear, and want my students to achieve the very best they can, making the most out of their schooling.

I am a friendly, encouraging, motivated and welcoming person and I would love to help students thrive, enjoy their schooling and achieve the grades they want. Understanding school work and thriving in school is so important for increasing happiness and wellbeing, as students will have higher self-esteem, confidence, social skills and enjoyment. I believe that tutoring should be solely focused on the needs of the student and what they need help with. I can go over topic content with students and help to clarify concepts they might be unsure about, explain assignments so students feel confident in how to construct their answers and provide drafting for students.
I have a multitude of notes and resources from my schooling for many different subjects which I can share with my students to give them different perspectives of concepts, hopefully increasing their comprehension.
