About Tallis
I am a current university student who can play a range of 10 instruments. I’ve studied music through private tutoring as well as at school for over a decade. I have experience playing in many ranges of ensembles, as well as solo performing and ensemble performances. I started playing piano as my first instrument when I was six years old, then started Flute at age eight. My love for music has only continued to grow since then. I enjoyed solo performing and found that to have a sustainable motivation in music, is all about finding where you’re passionate.

I offer flexible hours, and travel so students can have lessons in their own homes. Typical length for a lesson would be 1hr a week, more or less lessons can be done if preferred. I teach beginner, intermediate and advanced Flute, open to any level of knowledge. I teach Piano to an intermediate and beginner level. I take a personal based approach to teaching, to ensure each student can have a comprehensive knowledge of their instrument. I like to focus on areas that need improvement, while also developing a passion for the instrument. I strive to teach students to play with wonderful technique and tone. I also have extensive theoretical music knowledge to teach students to understand what they’re playing and reading sheet music fluently.
