I have previously taught school students the bagpipes and have thus gained valuable experience in how to run lessons. In addition to this I have also helped run an after-school drama and singing class for a period of two years.

I believe that a fundamental understanding of a subject comes through applying context, as well as outlining a step by step approach to solving questions, which can cement what an exam paper is actually asking for. I shall start each lesson with a few questions to ascertain what should be covered, and subsequently provide a few examples with the processes properly explained, before allowing the student to attempt some questions themselves with clarification offered if required.
