About Angel
As a transfer student from Oxnard College to California Polytechnic University San Luis Obispo, I am pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering and am passionate about math, physics, and engineering. I am also proud to be the first person in my family to attend university and am excited to continue pursuing my academic goals.
Throughout my academic journey, I have enjoyed helping my siblings and little cousins with their math, which has given me a sense of fulfillment. After my first year of college, I was offered a tutoring job at the Oxnard College campus, where I had the opportunity to help students understand difficult concepts in math and physics. I also served as president of the Engineering, Math, and Physics club at Oxnard College (EMP), where I organized workshops and events that aimed to inspire students to pursue STEM careers.
My academic background includes three associate degrees in Math, Engineering, and Physics, which have equipped me with a strong foundation in these subjects and a deep understanding of their practical applications. I believe that my passion for math and physics, coupled with my experience as a tutor and club leader, make me a competent and approachable tutor for anyone seeking help in these subjects.
