I’m a senior high school guitarist and aspiring musician. Having taught myself in my early years, I understand how overwhelming unstructured online resources can be. I now teach with a structured, goal-driven approach designed to help students progress efficiently and avoid common learning plateaus.

My lessons are practical and music-focused. Students learn real songs that keep them motivated, while technical skills and music theory are introduced in a hands-on, musical way rather than in isolation.
My teaching aims to develop the core skills every strong guitarist needs: rhythm, harmony, and melody. Depending on the student’s level and goals, lessons may include:
- Developing picking technique and speed through targeted exercises
- Working on essential fretting techniques such as bends, vibrato, and legato
- Jamming over chord progressions to build soloing and improvisation skills
- Learning to visualise intervals and chord–scale relationships across the fretboard for fluent improvising
- Understanding foundational music theory concepts and applying them directly to songs and improvisation
Lessons typically run for 30–90 minutes and are suitable for beginners through to late-intermediate / early-advanced players of any age.
In my own years of playing, I’ve experienced both rapid progress and frustrating plateaus, so I understand the common barriers guitarists face. My goal is to help students avoid these pitfalls and progress more efficiently. Each lesson includes clear guidance, along with practice resources and exercises to work on between sessions.
I also work with students to build a realistic practice routine that fits the time they have available.
