About Dan
As well as a teacher, I have experience as a beach lifeguard and swimming instructor so am adaptable to different needs and levels.
I am patient with pupils and understand different approaches to teaching for each pupil. I aim to push pupils to achieve their best, and also understand the need to cover fundamentals. If it’s necessary for us to revisit topics for multiple lessons, then that’s what we’ll do!

Lessons take place online with Notability, offering plenty of guided practice time with notes with examples provided.
I teach KS3 to A-Level and use modern technology (Desmos, Geogebra) to explain deeper understanding of concepts when teaching.
Teaching multiple exam classes yearly I offer guidance for exam technique and where marks can be picked up and lost.
