About Vamsi
I’m Vamsi, founder of Obliq Design Studio — a branding and web design agency based in London working with startup founders across the US and UK.
With over five years of hands-on experience delivering brand identity, web design, and UI/UX projects for real clients, I bring a level of practical depth that goes well beyond what most tutors can offer.
Teaching design has always been important to me because I know how hard it is to bridge the gap between learning tools and actually thinking like a designer.
My sessions are structured, focused, and built around your specific goals whether that’s landing your first design role, going freelance, or building a portfolio that gets noticed.
Every technique I teach is something I use in active client work. You won’t be learning from outdated templates or generic exercises you’ll be developing the same skills, workflows, and design thinking that go into professional agency projects.
I take punctuality, clear communication, and student progress seriously. My approach is patient and encouraging, and I adapt to how you learn best. You’ll leave every session with something tangible — feedback, a refined skill, or a clear next step.

I run Obliq Design Studio, a live branding and web design agency — so every lesson is grounded in real client work, not theory. Sessions are 60–90 minutes, fully tailored to your goals. Whether you’re a complete beginner, a career-switcher, or a self-taught designer wanting to go pro, we work hands-on in Figma at your pace, using real projects as your learning material.
