About Jonathon
I'm Jonathon, an Albany-based tutor with a Bachelor of Science in Paramedicine and a background in training, mental health and high-pressure problem solving.
I work with high school students who feel stuck, behind or overwhelmed. My approach is calm, clear and practical - I explain things properly, without rushing, and without making students feel stupid for not already knowing it.
My WWCC and national police check are current, and I carry professional indemnity insurance. I take the responsibility of working with young people seriously.

I'm Jonathon. I tutor high school students in Maths, English, Science, HASS, Human Biology, Psychology and Health Studies across Years 7 to 12.
My approach is calm, clear and practical. I start by working out exactly what the student is stuck on, then break it into smaller steps they can actually follow. No cramming, no panic notes - just understanding the work well enough to apply it.
Sessions are typically 60 minutes. I adapt the pace to the student, not the other way around. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Paramedicine with a background in training and high-pressure problem solving, which means I'm used to explaining complex information clearly under pressure.
Best fit for students who are behind, overwhelmed, anxious about assessments, or who just need things explained without feeling stupid.
