About Alen
I am a young graduate with a diverse background in biology, primarily majoring in cellular biology, genetics, metabolism, immunology, and biochemistry. In addition, I was once an International Baccalaureate student in Malta, where I completed my sixth form education at an American school and am very empathetic towards students who might be struggling with their exam revisions or simply with following the condensed and lengthy curriculum that advanced high school courses such as A-levels or IB present. With my international background, I am very welcoming and approachable to every student, regardless of their nationality or proficiency in English.

I take a storytelling approach to teaching Biology and adapt to the individual student's needs. Upon an introductory meeting and establishment of individual goals, I can provide an alternative method of teaching that encompasses my knowledge of advanced courses in Biology that I acquired at university, which I adapt to the required level of the student (e.g. bachelor's degrees, A-levels, IGCSE). Students might refer me to specific textbook chapters that they would like to reinforce, where I can personally provide an additional insight.
