About Kingyu
I will be teaching either Chemistry, Biology or Maths GCSE and one topic students often find difficult in Chemistry is electrolysis, especially understanding how ions move and why certain products form at each electrode. It’s challenging because students have to think about oxidation and reduction happening at the same time, as well as recognise which ions are actually discharged when multiple options are present. It’s quite abstract at first, so many learners struggle to visualise what’s happening.
