About Megan
I am an education professional with more than 10 years of experience working with children and students in a variety of learning environments. My background includes early childhood education, special education support, one-on-one instruction, and classroom teaching. I am currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I enjoy helping students feel more confident in subjects that may seem frustrating or overwhelming, and I believe patience, encouragement, and clear explanations can make a big difference in how students learn.

My algebra lessons are designed to meet each student at their current skill level and build from there. I use step-by-step explanations, guided practice, real-world examples, visual models, and repeated practice to make difficult concepts easier to understand. Each lesson is planned around the student’s specific needs, whether that means homework help, reviewing missed skills, preparing for a test, or strengthening overall algebra understanding. What sets me apart is my experience working with students of different ages, learning styles, and support needs, including students who need extra patience or one-on-one instruction. My lessons are especially helpful for middle and high school students who feel behind, lack confidence in math, struggle with equations or problem solving, or simply want more individualized support.
