About Nandini
I have a Ph.D in English in the United States and I teach at a U.S. University. I teach a variety of courses in English language and literature. I have written books and articles. I am originally from India and so I fully understand the needs of Indian speakers of English and can help them. I can teach oral expression as well as vocabulary, and other things as needed by the specific student. I have a very successful record of teaching at the college and university level abroad, and excellent student and peer evaluations.

My teaching method relies on interactive dialogue, stressing the importance of correct vocabulary and grammar in standard English usage, nurturing the student's confidence, using standard textbooks for lessons and exercises, emphasizing accent and pronunciation, expanding vocabulary and confidence by reading and speaking short passages, and other methods that may be required based on the student's specific needs and goals.
