About Hugo
I am a first-year university student at the University of New South Wales. I have been learning music for over 15 years and piano for over 12. I took music (piano) in my final high school exams and scored well in my diploma. I am currently studying science at university but am continuing to study piano towards higher exams and performance scenarios.

About the lesson

It is critical to mix technical exercises and "drills" with more interesting and more musical repertoire. I aim to teach not just piano but also musicianship generally, treating music as the art form that it is. Younger kids will enjoy engaging in more lyrical and enjoyable pieces, while more developed students will enjoy more exciting repertoire mixed with more technical exercises to accelerate their progress.
