About Stephanie
I am an engineering student currently in my fourth year at the Australian National University in Canberra. I have been tutoring for about three years now, and currently have over 10 students. I tutor a variety of ages including primary level in areas including math, English (reading, spelling and writing), and high school level in Maths, English (essay writing, etc.), Science (up to year 10, all areas) and higher level Physics.

I have found through tutoring such a wide range of students from a wide range of backgrounds that every student has different needs and requires a different approach. I like to make it clear with students that they can always be honest about what they do and don't understand, and I often ask a lot of questions to help achieve this. I believe that listening is a key skill for any tutor, and I like to guide students to understand how to complete the question rather than simply tell them what to do.
