About Jemima
Hi, I’m a university student at ANU offering tutoring in VCE General Maths (Units 1–4). I completed VCE with subjects including Maths Methods, General Maths, Chemistry, Biology, Business and English, giving me a well-rounded academic background.
I’m organized, reliable, and tailor each lesson to the student’s needs — whether that’s catching up on content, staying ahead of schoolwork, or exam preparation. I can also provide practice questions, summaries, and worked solutions to support learning outside of lessons.

My approach to tutoring is practical and structured, focusing on working through problems step-by-step so students understand how to apply methods rather than just memorising them. I tailor each lesson to the student’s level and focus on areas they find challenging, using a mix of worked examples, guided practice, and exam-style questions.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, which allows time to review concepts, work through questions, and reinforce understanding. I also provide additional practice questions or notes where needed.
I am an ANU student studying a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Science, with a strong background in mathematics including VCE General Mathematics and Mathematical Methods. I have experience explaining concepts clearly and working with others in academic settings.
My lessons are suited to primary school students as well as VCE General Maths (Units 1–4), and I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and improving their confidence.
