About Eliza
I am a historian, published writer and pre-service high school teacher.
I have studied Latin at the University of Leeds and at the Australian National University, Canberra, where I graduated with 1st class honours in modern history, Classics and Latin.
I've been helping students succeed in Latin since 2017.

I base my classes on my student's stated needs and the elements of Latin language that I notice need work. Where applicable, I support and enhance a student's classroom learning.
My teaching method varies with the individual needs of my student. For beginners, I give interactive lectures with worked examples and cultural context. For more advanced students, I'm take an immersive text-based approach, setting exercises and teaching grammar.
