About Mereki
I am currently undertaking my BA in Jazz saxophone performance at the ANU, but come from a strong classical music background. I have achieved distinctions in my AMEB studies in both practical (8th grade) and theoretical areas, and am going on to sit my AMusA. I've over a decade of experience playing and studying music and am confident in my teaching ability.

I am outcome driven and enthusiastic towards teaching the saxophone, and would love to teach students of a smilar disposition towards their study. I place a strong emphasis on developing fundamental technical skills, explained simply for all types of learners, as well as instilling a strong sense of musicianship in performance.
