About Jessie

I am an Architectural Designer, Writer, Inclusive Design Consultant (Motionspot) and PhD Candidate (UCL). I was previously a Lecturer at London Metropolitan University in the Art, Architecture and Design Department for 4 years and now online tutoring alongside my consultancy work and PhD. I have always loved learning and helping others with their learning process, to achieve a successful and enjoyable project. I am actively involved within the architectural and inclusive design industries, speaking at events/conferences, leading the seminars at the Access Association and the Accessibility Chair at London City Airport.

About the lesson

I offer a wide range of approaches, according to the learning method of each individual student. We will have a free consultation session to get to know one another, work through the project, determine your goals and organise a viable plan of action. As an architect and recently graduated 2x postgraduate student, and now PhD candidate, I understand what it means to be a student, especially within the context of Covid/transition to online learning. I have also been online teaching for 4+ years and testing out which methodologies work well to achieve engagement and successful results, whilst creating a compassionate rapport with each student. Understanding each student's individual learning style. With previous students, we have worked on Zoom.
