I teach using past exam questions, letting students approach a question and then working through some together. I start sessions by pulling up their exam board spec and seeing what areas the student is comfortable/uncomfortable with.
I have a tablet that I draw up diagrams and workings on so it's visual to the pupil.
Typical lessons are about 45 minutes to 1 hour long, I've found pupils tend to lose focus if it's any longer, I want them to get as much out of the session as possible.
I've tutored 3 people before and have had 2 tutors myself, I found having one really boosted my confidence in subjects and improved my grade massively, and I'd love to give that opportunity to others.
I'd teach GCSE Maths - I have up to an A-level in this subject and I'm doing an engineering degree with a lot of maths.
I'd teach Product Design - I have an A-level in this area.
