About Sia
My journey into Architecture began with a fascination for how thoughtfully designed spaces can influence experiences, behavior, and community life. This passion inspired me to complete a Bachelor of Architecture followed by a Master of Architecture. Over the last 9 years, I have helped students develop design confidence while building strong technical and creative foundations.
I believe architectural education should encourage exploration while maintaining a clear understanding of design principles. My teaching style focuses on helping students understand the reasoning behind architectural decisions rather than simply following processes. Through sketches, project discussions, critiques, and guided exercises, I support learners in developing their own design voice.
Outside teaching, I enjoy studying contemporary architecture, urban development, and sustainable building practices. These interests help me bring fresh ideas and practical insights into lessons. Supporting students as they grow into confident and capable designers remains one of the most rewarding aspects of my profession.

My Architecture lessons are built around the idea that great design starts with understanding people, spaces, and purpose. Students learn how to transform concepts into practical architectural solutions through topics such as spatial planning, architectural graphics, environmental design, model development, building systems, and design communication. I encourage learners to think critically about how structures influence daily life while also exploring their creative potential. Every lesson balances imagination with technical understanding to help students build a complete design perspective.
Each learning plan is adjusted according to the student's experience and goals. Beginners focus on visual representation, design fundamentals, and understanding scale and proportion. Intermediate learners work on concept refinement, layout development, material considerations, and presentation techniques. Advanced students explore complex design challenges, sustainable architecture, portfolio development, and professional project workflows. Consistent feedback and guided project reviews help learners steadily improve their skills and confidence.
Architecture is more than creating buildings. It is about solving problems, improving environments, and communicating ideas effectively. My goal is to help students become thoughtful designers who can approach projects creatively while understanding practical constraints. Every lesson encourages curiosity, creativity, and long-term professional growth.
