About Asha
I have 10 years of experience teaching Architecture to students preparing for academic programmes, design portfolios, and professional development. I earned an M.Arch in Urban Architectural Design, which gave me a deep understanding of how cities, communities, and structures connect through thoughtful planning. This academic background allows me to guide students with both creative insight and disciplined design methodology.
My teaching style is patient, inspiring, and highly supportive. I enjoy helping students discover how to shape abstract ideas into clear architectural concepts. I focus on building confidence through structured feedback, visual explanation, and creative exploration.
Outside teaching, I remain actively engaged with architecture through urban design research, sustainable planning studies, and continual sketch practice. Teaching is meaningful to me because I witness students grow from uncertainty into confident designers who can express ideas with clarity and purpose. Supporting that transformation is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

Architecture is a subject where imagination meets structure, and students grow most when they learn how ideas become real spaces. In my lessons, I help learners understand design principles, spatial planning, composition, form development, and architectural storytelling in a calm and encouraging way. Rather than focusing only on technical drawing, I guide students to think like designers, exploring how light, function, culture, and materials shape the built environment. Each session builds confidence by making complex design thinking feel approachable.
Lesson structure is carefully tailored to level and goals. Beginners develop sketching foundations, proportion awareness, and basic conceptual design habits. Intermediate students strengthen drafting skills, model development, site analysis, and project organisation. Advanced learners focus on portfolio refinement, architectural presentation, sustainable design logic, and professional critique methods. I include step-by-step feedback so students feel supported while improving steadily.
Architecture lessons also help students grow creatively and emotionally. Learners become more observant, expressive, and confident in their ideas. My goal is to help every student develop both technical ability and a strong personal design voice.
