About Wren
I have always been passionate about the impact of design on human experience, which inspired me to pursue a B.Arch in Sustainable Architecture. Over 9 years of teaching, I have helped students grow from learning foundational design principles to producing advanced, portfolio-quality projects, emphasising both creativity and technical skill.
My teaching philosophy blends structured guidance with creative freedom. I observe each student’s approach and provide tailored feedback, helping them develop conceptual clarity, technical competence, and visual expression. Lessons include hands-on exercises, critique sessions, and reflective practice to support holistic growth.
Beyond teaching, I stay engaged with architecture through design research, sustainability studies, and practical projects. Teaching is rewarding because I witness learners develop confidence, critical thinking, and a distinctive design voice. Helping students discover their creative potential and apply it meaningfully in architecture continues to motivate my work every day.

Architecture lessons focus on cultivating creativity while maintaining technical precision. I guide learners through spatial design, form development, material selection, and contextual understanding. Lessons emphasise hands-on learning with sketches, 3D models, and critical discussions to help students transform abstract ideas into functional, visually coherent designs. Students learn to balance creative vision with practical constraints, developing both technical skills and design confidence.
Beginners explore basic drawing techniques, spatial awareness, proportion, and conceptual exercises. Intermediate learners focus on site analysis, circulation planning, structural reasoning, and material application. Advanced learners engage in comprehensive project design, portfolio development, and presentation refinement, honing both creative and professional skills. Each lesson integrates guided practice, constructive feedback, and self-directed exploration to foster mastery and confidence.
Studying architecture enhances observation, problem-solving, and innovative thinking.
